Outreach · how we work

How wereach out.

Everyspot connects media owners who have unsold ad space with local businesses that have a reason to advertise. This page explains how we contact people, and the rules we design our outreach around.

Plain English, not legal advice. Where we describe a law or platform rule, we link the official source. Everyspot is early stage: this describes how we intend to work, and a person on our team confirms every deal.

01 · Media owners

We sell on your behalf.

If you own ad space (a billboard, screens, a venue, a newsletter or a channel), we work as your sales agent:

We don't send cold group emails that share one business's contact details with another.

02 · Businesses

A person approves every message.

AI helps us find timely reasons to advertise (an opening, an event, a season) and draft a proposal. A person reviews every message before it is sent, because AI can get details wrong.

We never use fake "you've been selected" claims, pretend to be the media owner, invent urgency, or write misleading subject lines. Every message says who it is from and how to stop hearing from us.

03 · The rules

The spam rules we follow.

Australia: Spam Act 2003

Commercial electronic messages need the recipient's consent (express or inferred), must identify the sender, and must include a working unsubscribe. Inferred consent can come from an address being conspicuously published for that role with their agreement, with no notice refusing unsolicited messages, where the message is relevant to that role. Sources: ACMA, Avoid sending spam · Spam Act 2003, Schedule 2.

In practice this means we prefer phone, LinkedIn or an in-person visit for a first contact in Australia, and only email addresses that a business publishes for that purpose.

United States: CAN-SPAM Act

The FTC's guide says the law covers all commercial email, including business-to-business: accurate sender details, no deceptive subject lines, identify the message as an ad, include a valid postal address, and honour opt-outs within 10 business days. Email providers

We follow Gmail's sender guidelines for authentication and easy unsubscribes. Source: Google, Email sender guidelines.

04 · Your choices

Stop anytime.

If we contacted you and you'd rather we didn't, reply "unsubscribe" or email hello@everyspot.media and we will stop within 5 working days. For questions about how we found your details, email the same address.
